What are you favorite methods of advertising?

In your specific niche, what are your favorite methods of advertising and getting referrals?

I'm talking more about targeted visitors that are buying products or services, not clicking ads.

my personal favorite when it comes to e-commerce is PPC marketing quick, fast, and effective as long as you know what you are doing

 

When it comes to getting referrals. My favorite method is to write a blog about it and do some social bookmarking submissions.

 

Google Adwords.

 

Article marketing usually works best for me.

 

The only thing that truly works for bringing in money...advertising on other sites.

Plus I do article submissions to content sites.

 

Adwords and advertising seem to be the best methods for me too. I get most traffic from organic search though.

I think advertising/Adwords is what usually converts to a sale.

 

PPC SEO. The search engines are the best way to advertise anything online!

 

I am not familiar with Article Marketing or Viral Marketing with ebooks. What is involved in both of these?

Note: I'm familiar with Viral Marketing (so no need to explain that), but I'm not sure how to use ebooks to do this.

 

Craigslist and email marketing

 

Good list, forum posting can be a little tedious at times

 

For me, I am in the Traffic Exchange business ... so TE's work well for me.

I have used some ezine ads.

I also use safelist advertising, but I must admit, I am new to that.

I recently started a news blog at one of the TE's I work with. That is too new to tell, but it is adding great content that the search engine bots are picking up.

I am hoping to learn to use more forms of advertising though.

Interesting idea. I haven't ventured into that, but I am curious how well it would work, especially in a very narrow niche.

Networking has become a big part of my daily business life. Not only does it give a platform to contact more customers it also helps you earn more money by getting input and idea from your networked "buddies".

Lastly I like working in buzz marketing via promos, etc using the same networking base above.

 

A Tell A Friend form immediately after the user signs up to your offer works well for all my sites. Ensure you give the new member an incentive for telling others.
