    Well, last time I read here about Western Money transfer service by google to India. However, they didn't announce it as usual. Even, Online money transfer is very easy in India. But google has not paid a serious attention towards it making
    EFT and Western Money Transfer unavailable for India.

    it doesn't mean that if western union didn't available in india so google hate india but like india it is not available in other big countries also so try to think about this and leave blaming google.

    do not mix western union with google's wire transfer....In Russia we have western union all over the place for ages, but wire is still unavailable too. I guess thats due to getting hard on the market, dealing with laws in each country and when comparing the number of pubs, its not worth it yet. However, G has offices all over the world...and in Moscow too, who knows whats the problem.

    It's the RBI that have some silly rules regarding Western Union. It's not Google's fault :p

    Can you imagine? Indians can only RECEIVE money via WU but can never send money? LOL ...

    All the money that is RECEIVED via WU in India has to be stated that it is a 'gift' or for 'personal reasons'. :p So I really don't think Google can do anything about it or get 'serious' as you so say.

    Dont worry people. Google is going to give a big surprize to Indian Adsense Publishers soon!!!! (EFT will start soon). India is one of Google's favourite country. Did you noticed that Indian banks started NEFT? (National Electronic Fund Transfer).

    If you are reading/listening to news regularly WERTERN UNION got under a sting operation that shows it is used for transferring HAWALA money. RBI after that has made its rules more strict. EFT and WESTERN is quite a dream as RULES matter.

    Western Union is available in India and it is available at many locations but just as Phinelinda said it is available only for personal reasons.It is illegal to receive money as business payment.
    But I wonder why we are interested in Western Union when othr easy options like Paypal and ikobo are available? i found them much more convinient and cheaper than western union.

    Yaaah! I loose $1000.00 a day due of it! India is a Money Maker better than USA or other! But Western Union and Google are the Main problems! I hope they accept Indian bros soon! Western Union accepting Pakistan is a Great success to Many Money Makers in the World!

    I dont get it, you all are talking about Western Union, the service that allows one person to send money to the other with a special code.

    Does google pay via Western Union, then?

    Payment to Indian Adsense Publishers via Western Union is not available. India is not in google's list. Our neighbours Pakistan, China is in the list. So, I highly suspect EFT will start soon.....

    Please read about RBI regulations before claiming that google is wrong. RBI restricts foreign currency transactions under FEMA act. You need to disclose the purpose of the money being transfered and also have to declare PAN number of the receiver for large sum of money.

    If google has to start this, they might need to comply with regulations related to FEMA. Google wont risk an early entry without ensuring proper legal approval are taken.

    I advice you. First study financial rules before claiming someone is wrong.
