Paypal New Withdrwal Feature - Any Experiance

Discussion in 'PayPal' started by seoindia, Oct 6, 2007.

Paypal recently launched new withdrawal feature where one can withdraw money from Paypal account to their Debt or Credit card . I tried several time for same in my debit cards but it shows that bank doesnt provide this feature on your debit card. My question is if i withdraw to Credit card can i withdraw money as simple as debit card. Will credit card issuer will charge something for that as well. Anyone having already done that espiecially from India, please share your experiance.

I havent tried this feature but I am sure the CC company will still make it count as a cash advance so they can profit from the transaction.

I am not sure whether you can use it to transfer funds to your debit card, if you can be able to do, it would be best to use that service rather than xoom, as paypal is going to charge $5 per transfer, that is cheaper than xoom, if I am not wrong.

My question is if i withdraw via Credit Card , can i withdraw money from ATM normally as case with Debit cards. Will Credit card issuer will charge something? Is it allowed to withdraw money from Credit card? I am not sure how can one add money to credit card and than withdraw it. If u add money it will extend your credit limit. Because i am so much confused i havent opted for the option yet. If anyone has done that please share with us.

As per RBI norms you cannot withdraw funds to your debit card in India via paypal.
However you certainly can withdraw your funds to your credit card, I have found one solution for those who have ICICI bank account and credit card.
In ICICI bank's online banking, you can attach your bank account and credit card account under one login id.
Hence after withdrawing funds to your credit card to can transfer the funds online to your bank account.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

    This is the valid point.
In India we can withdraw cash advance from Credit Card but it attracts heavy service charges and very higher interest rates.
So how can we withdraw amount added from paypal to our cc?

India users can use the VMI card with no problem for withdrawal. I have talked to many that use this with no problems. If you use cc you will get charged heavy fees. Anyways good luck to all with this and if you have any questions on VMI cards please PM me as I know of a great reseller. Thanks.
