    I've seen really realistic paintings in art galleries, and don't say they're fake 'cause it's not even privately owned.

    I'm a designer.. exactly :p artists and designers are different :p

    I think some of these "paintings" (if they are real) were digitally enhanced. No way that brushwork and paint could have produced some of those pictures.

    Ok there different, but I'm talking about Photoshop wise.. Don't you think these can be done in photoshop to trick people there real paintings?

    If you pick up an art magazine, you'll see genre of artists who specialize in super realistic paintings. But, I agree. I tend to wonder what the point is, too, unless you're painting something that would be hard to capture on film in real life -- like the painting of the bomber over the lake.

    I've seen a lot of really good paintings and never seen anything even remotely close to that. I highly doubt that someone painted these. To perfect the intricacies of the face in such fine detail would take years and years and someone would have known that someone was doing this.
