I am wondering why my site is getting less hits from msn (and yahoo, although it is better) than google. This comes off as odd behavior to me because google is so fast at indexing a site. MSN has indexed about 1,000 pages and I get a mere 3-5 visitors from them daily. Google has only 150 some and I get 50+ daily. This is a lot different from other Webmasters' stats concerning the division of search traffic to their sites. I guess that my question is, does MSN perhaps take longer to rank pages than google, despite being indexed? I have plenty of links on their engine but don't get crap from them. I was thinking this might also be the industry I'm in (PC Gaming) and that perhaps my visitors were more likely to use Google than msn, but how much more likely could this be, to be seeing such poor results?
Don't concentrate much on MSN, even if you make to the first page for good keyword you cant get more than 10 - 20 visitors from msn and in google if you are on 5th page you can expect 50- 100 visitors daily.
Do a research first on MSN, because some of the keywords are searched less in MSN then other engines..one of my site gets alot of visitors from msn + 2X that from Google..so it depends on the keywords you choose!
