Yes you can withdraw cash via atm from your cc using the atm, provided you have a cash withdrawal facility and the password for using it with the atm machine.

    Yes helps for those having

    1. Credit Card

    2. Prepaid Card.

Nopes, it doesn't coz fees if you withdraw cash via CC from the ATM. I had done the same when was in singapore. I don't remember if I had any charges being charged.

Whats prepaid card: You remember HDFC, IDBI were giving virtual cards preloaded with cash in it? You could call it gift card, used to buy things, swipe, use online, etc.

I guess you can add the same to your account and add some funds onto it.

But But But... I don't trust the prepaid card system it seems bit risky stuff to me, you know the private banks in india.

Regarding using credit cards, aaah why would one wanna fill excess balance into it.

Unless you want pay your credit card bills via paypal. ;)

It would have been great if we had debit card facility but debit cards in India don't have online facility and hence, I would say unless Private Banks and RBI grows up in India, we won't have much facilities.

Now according to paypal we can use it but again if the paypal funds gets into cc account then you can spend it into shopping via cc but if you want to withdraw cash then we have to bear huge charges as Meethere in the previous page told us.

so now i have one question what are the ways to withdraw money from cc ..except shopping something or ATM...

I guess HDFC's NetSafe card works... because once I have registered a hosting using my real credit card and then after billing I changed the billing info and add my netsafe card... then after some months I cancelled that hosting and got my refund to NetSafe card and not to my real card... So it works... Best of Luck!! Post the result here if you try.....

    are you sure buddy..
Becoz netsafe cards get expired in 24 hours and once it expired you can face lots of difficulties in getting it credited becoz it was expired..
There was a incident in which someone buyed a airline ticked via netsafe and later the flight got cancelled now when airline tried to fund back which was not possible on the expired netsafe card..so he loosed money or atleast a lots of trouble for him...

and did you said that you get refund to netsafe card(expired one)...

Well, am sure in my case... its because... I signed up using my Real Credit Card... then replaced with NetSafe Card.... I remember that I gott the refund to my Netsafe card... after it was expired.....

    Here is another case,

I signed up for XDrive.com Free Trial on August 2006 using Netsafe... and then didnt cancelled my account as I thought they would cancel my account automatically due to non payment... Now, in August 2007 they billed me for that... and I deregistered my Debit card with netsafe... but again they billed me in september also.... Then I contacted the bank and they issued a refund for me for the payment made in September......

that means you get refund to your bank account (via netsafe card)
I am more than confused now

and if i want to withdraw paypal to bank first i ve to create a netsafe vcc...and then withdraw it...never mind but i wont be taking any risks for now :D

Yes, I got my refund to my bank account via Netsafe card.... There is no risk to try... First u have to verify ur paypal account (ignore if already done) then create a fresh netsafe card of load with 1 Rs. and then replace with that card in ur paypal... then try to withdraw money.... If its not possible then the trasfer would fail and will be credited back to ur paypal itself...
