How do you cash Google check?

I don't receive cheques, I set it up so the money is paid right into my bank, is it possible for you to do that?

In most part of the world, all google checks are payable at citibank. all cheques are considered local cheques only and are cleared in not more than 2 days.
Moreover, never delay in encashing your google cheque. who knows when google blocks your cheque. I do instantly whenver i receive my cheque. Not to take any risk.

 

you go to the bank and cash it or deposit it. its like any old check except its bigger.

 

This post will help me a lot as I am waiting for my first cheque to come. I definitely give the choice of local currency offer. It will not then cut any commission or it will take very less time to get it cleared. Now the question is that will google cut any amount from my earnings if I ask the cheque in local currency during the currency processing time?

 

So always ask the cheque from google in the local currency if it is available for your country. Is not it?

I do visit amex and give them the cheque, an executive from there cash it for me and he took $10 USD for it.

But i am not able to cash more then $2000 USD month as I have to answer thousand of answer to the question, like why google paid you, you sure this money is not illegal bla bla bla...

When I tried to cash in a check from Google here in Sweden a few years ago, the bank staff just looked at me like I was from the 80s. I tried several banks and most didn't take checks. One wanted about $150 to cash it.

The last time I saw someone dealing with a check in Sweden was when my dad used one to pay something in the mid-80s.

Personally I don't know why checks still exist today when we have more modern methods of payment like wire-transfer and credit cards.

 

It is great problem to Cash Google cheques, if cheque is not in your local currency. It take upto 100 days to get Google adsense payments in some countries.

It's important to be instant because i can't spend more that 1 day there

 

mojtata, I think it needs to be deposited into your bank because it is crossed check, so it has to take a few days minimum to clear.

I am from india and my Adsense cheques are usually cleared within 3-4 days

 

Im in usa and i still have problems all the banks here in my city bassett va. look at me like im crazy.. and they say they will cash it but only if i have an account with more money then the check and then its a 14 day waiting period.. if you dont have enough money to cover the check.. So i get my boss to cash it and then he deposits it into his account he has plenty of money so the 14 days doesnt bother him.. thats crestar bb&t bank piedmont banks and all have the same policy here.. even the check cashing places wont touch it they are like sorry we dont cash internet checks.. id open an account but i dont have enough money and my google checks are just enough to pay my bills..

 

I deposit it into my account and I am charged a nominal fee of $5 regardless of the amount.
