Hire africans to write news

Perhaps you should do more research. Africa is a very large continent, with many providers of Internet access, and improving every day. In addition, many Africans are highly educated and would be quite capable of writing excellent articles at reasonable rates of pay. I have friends from Botswana, Kenya and Egypt whose English skills are as good as mine, and let's not forget that South Africa has a large native English speaking population.

i am sure there are honest, cheap writers out there however.

 

who said so..don't believe everything you hear on news brother..when people think of africa they think of war, famine, poverty..Africa is developed for more than you can imagine.. i'm actually in the office down somewhere in sub saharan Africa typing this and the net connection speed is good brother

 

Lets say that Africa is a continent. It has good writers and bad in incredible numbers. This has gotten a little harsh at time... in this thread.

It's a good idea, but do you have a plan to make it work? I imagine your competition would be fierce and if you can do it, what's to stop other DPers doing the same thing. You'd need a point of difference that they couldn't match.

 

What the hell difference does having an African author do? You should be banned for starting absurd discussions like that.

 

Simply relicensing quality content. No issue, and let the licesnsee selct the content. I have around 25 - 40 articles a day from which to chose. All original, and all exactly the same length (yes, weird, but my concept is a little different). And with over a thousand articles so far inxed by Google on a new site... kinda gives an idea of what we would be capable of.

quality > quantity

if those articles aren't written by a professional or without editorial skill, most would find them worthless.

 

They have incredibly strict guidelines, and are easy to read. And they are written by several people. All with strict editorial oversite.

 

Is there an alternative to mturk that accept requesters outside USA ???
