Does Firefox Referrals work?

Now Firefox Referrals gone International. After some days do you think they are good for your website?

I'll begin:

Placed some especial code in some pages: if visitor's browser was IE, showed Firefox Referall, and if not, normal AdSense. The code to do this can be found here:

Putting that in a file, and then in your page putting this code:

After a day I can say profit was low, good CTR, but bad downloads. Some say even they gained 0.10$ per referral, as for example in South America, as it's said prices were assigned in preferences countries order.

 

Nobody satisfied?

 

I only added the code to my site today. Will have to see how it does in the next couple of days and I'll report back.

 

I added the code to one of my pages.. slow so far...

 

I wondered the same... has anyone actually made some good money from this program? I never heard anyone say so...

 

I too got only .10$ per referral.... for the code which i put yesterday.

Davilac do you manage to get the html code to use for a blogspot blog?
I only wanted to show the button to my IE users...:/

 

$1.00 for one of my sites - but it is a low traffic site though.

 

About $3 for high traffic site in 2 days... I've expected a little more but it's better than nothing

 

Atleast more people are switching to from IE to firefox, that makes me happy enough --forget the money, help the cause!

i have did it 1 day .. US$5 to 10 per/days/// litter ...

Well, before some people had a free banner for Firefox, now you can change your banner for a paid banner and maybe earn some little cash.

What seems to be clear is to not change old AdSense for banners for Firefox Referrals banners

 

I had no idea that Firefox was being tied in as a Google application. Have they bought it or is it just an association?. Makes sense of course, they seem to be doing their best to get in on everything Microsoft does.
I wonder if they'll start doing Open Office referrals. Not so many people know about that package, it's Google endorsement, or it's free price tag. I'm sure you could introduce a lot of people to that app.

 

What I fear is Google to adquire Mozilla. Also Google is hiring for firefox development...

Taking the risk of being annoying, is it possible to show to IE,Netscape,Opera and not for already Firefox users?

 

It's just an association . The Mozilla Foundation is not-for-profit, so I don't think it can be bought out.
