Who else gets heart attacks from Google Adsense emails.

Everytime Google Adsense sends out an email letting publishers know about new services and updates, I always get worried that it's going to be that dreaded "You've been cancelled for invalid clicks".

    Anyone else feel this way.

I know that I never should get it, because I never click my ads, but I've heard stories of people saying they got booted just the same (maybe they were lying though).

In anycase, I freak out when I get unexpected emails from Google Adsense team. LOL

I hate getting those, especially the "New email from Google Adsense" messages popping up on MSN... Thinking "Oh shit, There goes my Paycheck this month :("

It's not as bad now that Adsense is only 30% of my earnings though.

That's exactly what happened to me, but with my GMAIL warning app. It pops up a little notice in the bottom right corner. I see it says "From Google Adsense" and I'm like "Please be something trivial."

I, too, shat bricks upon seeing that email.

I really says alot about Google's clients service that people are so scared of them. I NEVER click and I work hard not to violate TOS - still, I am terrified of being spontaneously ejected from the program !

When I get emails from Google and I feel like panicing I stop and ask myself "Am I a 15 year old who used my mom's name for my account and got my 5 friends to click on my ads every day until I had accumulated $80 in 3 months?" and I answer "No" and remind myself it's probably just some TOS change so Google can better index my life on line and my thoughts in my head.

    :)

When you have around $7,000 in one account, and $11,600 you get REALLY freaked out

Haha. Thought it was just me. I'd just recently had an exchange with them about some appropriate usage questions too.

I never get very worried. I know I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary. I guess there's always the possibility that someone may screw me over but even if that happens, I have faith that Google would look at my case and see I did no wrong myself. That might not be how it works but honestly, getting booted out of Google isn't something that crosses my mind very often.

I could see how a Google email would be nerve-wracking, considering the "I've just been banned threads".
