Gmail Phising Email :eek:

    Hi,

    I was checking my emails and saw this email :




    Do you think this is a Phising email or ??? I clicked on the link but as soon as I realized that link seems fishy I didn't fill in the form.What do you guys say?

    That is copy paste? I thing that it is phising mail..

    Be careful..

    If you sent your mail password etc, Then It will redirect you at your's mail inbox.. try to sent fake name.. ;)

    Yep I just copied the text and links from my email. Also did you check the link?? Looks phising email to me but this part is confusing me: accounts-noreply <accounts-noreply@google.com>

    Everything else is clearly a try to get my password.

    Well I'm not in a mood to fill up that form :)

    Google should have written my name instead of "Dear Members" :) But I'm still confused how they got that accounts-noreply [at] google.com :)

    Well, the link says: gmails-us.com/mail/update/

    So I wouldn't trust it.

    It is quite easy to change the "From" section of an email to make it look like it came from another place. Notice the From line says accounts-noreply <accounts-noreply@google.com>. However, the mailed-by line reads: iopc-manado.org. If this was an official gmail notice, the mailed-by line would be gmail.com, google.com, or something similar. This is definately a phishing email. Report it to the gmail staff.

    yes i also got the same email like this and believe it or not i got it from paypal asking to login through the given link in the email
    I understood it was spam and deleted it!
    Thank god :cool:
