Edit: I've edited this to just paste the article here. Instead of just linking to it. >>> Article source: here Here are some general psychological principles to take into consideration when thinking about becoming a successful Internet entrepreneur. Just my opinion, hope you enjoy the read. Know that it will not be easy - Making a lot of money takes a lot of effort. If for you want to start making money online, be prepared to put in a considerable amount of effort. Do not be fooled by the finished product of a successful entrepreneur, they worked hard to get there and you will also need to. Obviously on the net you get the one hit wonders who get lucky with a novelty idea, but… it doesn’t happen very often so don’t put your hopes into being the next ‘Million Dollar Homepage’. Don’t be afraid of failure - It’s rare that an entrepreneur will become successful without ever failing first. Failing helps you understand what not to do. You can read from books all you like but people are different, business changes and you need to learn for yourself. Which is why I don’t like University and all those fucking courses, if the business teachers there are so up on business… why are they teachers? why don’t they have their own businesses. I would much prefer to do it all by myself and learn from my own mistakes, taking on board inspiration and being prepared to learn from your superiors obviously but ultimately, taking failure on board and using it to move forward. Push yourself mentally - These days, especially online, it’s getting harder and harder. Mainly because so much more is being exploited and a lot of logical ideas have been thought of and what not. So it’s hard to start a trend or make a big site. Your best bet is to just work hard. Make the best content you can make and push yourself mentally to think of new ways to promote yourself and your content. New ways to do things, new ways, remarkable things that will make you stand out. But ultimately the undertone is good content and hard work. Give and you will get - If you give people a lot of quality information or quality products you are likely to succeed. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and on the Internet it’s invaluable, forget trying to manipulate search engines and blogging about how annoyed with Google you are because of this whole payed link debate and blah blah. Just focus on making excellent content, products, services and what not and you will be successful. The basic principles are work, quality and consistence of quality, you can try buy links here and there and manipulate all you want and whatever. But at the end of the day, unless whatever you are trying to get to the top is good, it will never get to the top anyway. Get working. The End! <<< Cheers.
It's hardly spam isit. Spam is irrelevant, unwanted commercial content and promotions usually sent by email but also promoted via forums etc. I've made nearly 500 posts and have contributed in other people's problems and discussions. And this is a relevant article, in the relevant section.
The mindset set for making money online can be summed up as 'Never Give up!' Keep trying and the rewards will come (eventually)! Helen
Always enjoy these kind of inspiring articles, I probably spend too much time reading them though Thanks for that
Get banned is simply happen for those who not read TOS of this forum. Erm, my mindset for make more money online is to retired rich early. hehehe
Whoa... now the guy is banned? Well I guess starting a thread to promote your own sites articles is a bit shameless..
If he didn't include a link to his article I probably wouldn't have thought anything of it. In all honesty, it was a fairly good read and probably something that first-comers need to read. Most people think that simply having a domain name and some web space is enough to make you money. They don't actually realize the time and effort put in to making the website successful. Also, it seems like people give up after a week of not making any money. Internet marketing isn't a short term project. There is a reason why I am not quitting my job and able to live off what I make online.
Strange that he would be banned. I thought you were allowed to link to an article within your blog as long as you provide at least a brief description of what it's about. Too bad. I rather liked his posts.
I'm back it was a temporary ban. I can't understand why I was bann though :S I love this forum and wouldn't do something if I thought it would get me ban. It was a relevant article in a relevant section, with an explanation, it wasn't selling or promoting anything. Just a hard written article... oh well.
