To review/update your contact data, simply:
+ Go to www.godaddy.com/?isc=ICANN07a
+ Click on the "ICANN Domain Confirmation" icon at the top of the page
+ You will be taken to a landing page and asked to enter your Domain Information Key:

Next, simply review the contact information for each domain name. To make a correction, log in to "My Account" with your customer number or log in name and password. Click "Manage Domains," select the domain to update, then click "Contact." If you find that your domain contact data is accurate, there's no need to take action.

If, however, your domain contact information is inaccurate, you must correct it. (Under ICANN rules and the terms of your registration agreement, providing false contact information can be grounds for domain name cancellation.) Yup. It's the registrar's standard email for making sure the WHOIS details of all
domain names you have with them is complete and accurate.

If you're 100% they are, then just ignore it. Otherwise, make sure they're all
updated.

 

thanks was worried there for a bit but looked at my whois info and i spelled my first name wrong lmfao so updated that

 

Godaddy is only sending the email to the owners of the domain, they think the whois information is not right.

 

Ya, i got 7 of those, some domains I sold people never changed certain contact emails... it sorta pisses me off

 

i got it today but when i enter that key i got by email i only see one domain , so anyway i'v updated the contact info

 

They're just randomly choosing domains and checking them, so if you have a suspected fake, they'll email you.

They're just trying to protect their customers from becoming victims to ICANN.

 

Can I put my PO Box instead of mailing address? and is it okay to put NONE for the last 4digit phone numbers?

 

You are free to choose PO Box address. Phone no. should be a working one.

 

Yet I get these too recently.

Technically according to ICANN regulations a registrar can take away your domain if the details are wrong/incorrect.

But how many domains with fake/wrong details have you seen? Many... and I've never really heard of any being cancelled.
Besides I think they have to give you a warning first

Receive none, though our company owns about 60+ websites with 7 different registrars including godaddy

In this case the domain was taken by godaddy when only the whois email were incorrect but the phone and mailing address were correct.

but the thing is I do not have any domain registered on that email address..

From your first post, it appears they bulk emailed from their database. It's like
a convenience, though many conveniences can have certain flaws.

You definitely can. Just make sure to stay on top of each one.

 

it's a phishing!!!! I lost 300$

I clicked on the link and after a while, I coouldn't log in to my own account. Later, one person from send me emails saying that I stand to lose my account if I don't send him/her my scanned passport. I did send that. After that he/she asked me to scan my CC card front and back cover. I was suspecious and i refused so i asked him to tell me wht's his name etc. He did but turned out that the name was fake.

He after getting my CC detail, he withdraw 300 from my CC to my moneybooker and from there he sent himself that 300 to sirzirak@yahoo.com

So becareful with that sirzirak thingy. I hope moderator of this forum can search the DB and see if there're such username's using that email, so that next time he wont be doing such thing again!
