Is 'Site Build It' As Good As They Say?

I have recently come across a site builder called Site Build It. I was attracted to it by seeing an actual site that was made using Site Build It, there sites show top Google ranking for the term: 'dog name' , 'dog guide', 'birthday rhymes' etc theres more.

I dont know much about SEO and all that, what I was wondering is does this site builder give good results for all?

You should not be fazed by a bit of luck within one small set of keyword terms.

I have 100s of clients and my own sites, of all types sitting in positions 1 2 3 on goolge msn & yahoo....some are in html, php, asp, jsp joomla and even custom CMS.. so it's not the site itself that matters but a combination of solving as many of the SEO needs as possible.

If you are looking at things from the SEO perspective the best is a site coded in xhtml and which uses CSS for styling.

This separates the content from the code for the search engine spiders and also allows sites to load quickly for people, as long as the server is of good quality.

    Peace!

I went the SBI route when I first started... I learned a lot through them although it didn't really work out.

Hahaha :D LOL. Aren't that means that you are learning something that is not working?

I once read SBI review and case study. My reaction? I would never ever buy SBI based on that case study. They recommend using long URL with tons of niche keywords that sometimes includes dashes. OMG, those are techniques that Google "punished", don't they even update the lessons?

I see that there are not too many fans of SBI in this thread, but I have to say I did have success with my first site with them.

SBI is a good starting point if you really have no idea how to build a website or how to market it. Those here that are more web savy aren't going to like it I am sure, but for a complete beginner I think it is a really good platform. They definitely take care of the behind the scenes technical stuff which allows a person to concentrate on building their site.

SBI is based on providing content above all else and they promote that philosophy over and over especially in their forums. They actually do NOT want you to try to keep up with any of the current SEO tips or tricks. Their philosophy is build content for the readers not the search engines.

So I guess if you are asking if they are an honest and reputable company then I would have to say yes especially for a complete beginner.

I completely agree that SBI is a good starting point. However, I disagree with their prices. At some point even those free SEO reports at DP freebies section are better. For that price, SBI is not worth it.

That's what I was saying, that SBI is a nice place to learn a bit about SEO and building websites... But it's definitely for beginners.
