New free links directory on Article Codex - No reciprocal link needed.

Hey All,

I've added a links directory to Article Codex with free links (no recip links required but appreciated of course ) for all.

I'll approve all links as fast as I possibly can!

I amn't sure what PR the Directory will have after the next update but I am comfortably certain of a PR 4 Homepage after it's first update and have hopes of a reasonable PR on the Link Directory itself.

I've added all the same categories as I have for the Article site itself, if you have any suggestions for new categories then send me a PM

I haven't turned on Featured links as I don't think anyone will be interested in them yet, let me know if I'm wrong!

Maby a suggestion for your directory/article website. Since you've created the same categories for the directory as for the article directory why not link them together, for instance: http://www.articlecodex.com/Articles/Computers/Internet/ and this category http://www.articlecodex.com/Links/index.php?c=107. And use a rewritemodule to create more static links for your directory.

Thanks WhatiFind. I like the linking categories idea a lot! Going to see how easy it would be to do that dynamically. I have written my own custom script to handle the "mod_rewrite" style functionality of the main site so it should be (reasonably) easy for me to set this up.

 

I saw them and created a new directories category for them.

As for travel, I have a Business - Shopping - Holidays category, I can put in a specific "Travel" category, maybe under regional?

Dunno which three are yours but I've approved a load

Have re-arranged some categories and I have a few I've held off approving till I decide what to do with them.

I have a whole rake of links that have been submited all to the same site on the same theme and I amn't sure I want to have so many links all along the same lines in the same place. If you are planning to submit links like that then think twice. (I don't mind multiple links for different services going to the same site. Web Design, Hosting and SEO Services for example are three different things and I welcome all three links.)

What does everyone else think? Should I just approve any and all links? Or should I be a bit more carefull?
