    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Hmm. I thought this was against the rules?

www.gizmodo.com - great site and resource, but look down the page in the sponsored links. Those seem to be Google ads, but it doesn't have the Ads by Google or whatever text. I thought that was required?

They are probably a premium publisher. They get more options.

They are a premium publisher. When you have 20 million page views per month, or 5 million searches (and some of these requirements are lowered for other languages and countries) you are eligible for the Premium Publisher program from Google AdSense which provides the following benefits:

    - Google sales representative and account manager
    - Flexible ad formats
    - Advanced filtering
    - Optimization assistance
    - Additional monetization options
    - Enhanced technical support

Cool. I knew they were the biggest gadget blog, and I knew about Premium Publisher. I just didn't know it was allowed to remove that Ads by Google text.
