think its a bit more than faking views :p, their are a lot of less bandwidth consuming ways to fake page views ;).

I did put the code in a site I have with 2000 uniques a day. Since I put several pages of the racist site in the code that will drain 15GB a day from the site :)

    Few things to watch for,
#1 that the search engines don't penalize you.
#2 that they don't block your site referral
#3 that it doesn't slow your site down

Oops, the racists site is down, used all his bandwith budget, 45GB in 4 days, (he pay in advance). He wrote me and asked why my site was linking to his site:D then he told me the bandwith and so on. I gave him a stupid answer :D
Time to use another site hehe.

Why could the SE`s penalize me for this?

Could be considered linking to a bad neighborhood, to many iframes can also get you a bad rank from my experience. Even if not a penalty, could still drive you down, just something to watch ;)

I didn't say just google, I said search engines. Anything above and beyond standard html IMHO could be hit. Not saying it will, just something to watch for. If you see rankings drop, it would be something to look at ;)

Ok, so my high traffic site is identified by the racist as a referrer to drain 45GB. I cant use that site any more. But if I open the racist site in an iframe on another site and then open that other site in another iframe on the high traffic site again. What would the racist see as referrer ?

the url that the iframe has been loaded from.
not sure but heres a idea, use tinyurl instead of their url i think that would hide referral?

    Worth a shot.

If he trully wants to drain, buying some proxies and loading it from them might do the trick! :D

Its a good idea, I have many proxies, but I have adsense on them and dont want to do this with sites I have adsense on.
I will check the tinyurl idea too, thanks.

The proxied pages, you can't put adsense on them anyways ;)

Ah, of course, I am a bit slow today, forgot that I had proxified pages :D
I checked the tinyurl and it does not hide the referrer.
