Nobody knows that other than paypal. There are still so many countries where paypal not supported but hope they will cover most of them in near future. Till now you have to just wait and watch and continue with other payment option like moneybookers.

You will just to have to wait while paypal adds the last 10 to 15 countries in the world which is not under their supported countries.

It is important that your countrymen do not go set up paypal accounts with fake information or engage in suspicious activitites because that would give them more reasons not to support your country.

Country population size is not an important factor because there are countries which are supported have very few citizens.

I don't think it will happen anytime soon. Meanwhile you can use E-Gold or MoneyBookers, both supports Pakistan.

I don't think so that paypal can ban any country for ever.
its the matter of country not individuals

And what about PayPal? Are they serious? They are stupid jerks. Banning accounts without any reason. Stealing money from it. MoneyBookers is going to beat PayPal soon. Believe me its end time of PayPal. Don;t accept PayPal from anyone. Just forget a stupind Payment Processor.

Looking on the current situation I don't think paypal will start their service in Pakistan, better you should use other services like MB, 2CO, ikobo etc.

It's not about the current situation it's everything political. PayPal is even available to small African Countries where I doubt only 1% of their population uses internet. So don't think PayPal will add Pakistan. It would be waste of time, stick with other Payment processors bobchrist mentioned and you would be fine.

Can I've a link to the site (or whatever it is) where you read this? I just want to see this myself and most possibly the reason why they blacklisted Pakistan.

I think maybe Pakistan has limit on service the paypaly provide.
Like in china, we can't withdraw the money from paypal by CC beacuse our country has strict limit on Exchange dealing

Some of the replies are really hilirious like paypal banned Pakistan forever and don't create fake accounts. Dude paypal is not banned forever and also the population factor doesn't matter. Actually in Pakistan, there are not laws for internet security and theft. So paypal finds it difficult to start in such a country where they will even have some losses because of no laws. So if Pakistan has to be in the list, it should first make laws against people who are involved in online scamming.
