Sitemap

    Firstly I hope this is in the correct section of DP!

    I have an arcade site, link in sig, and I wish to add a sitemap to it. I have no idea where to create a sitemap and how to add it to the site. If someone could help me out on this problem it will be a very big help to me.
    Also which file would I add meta tags to the site in?
    Is there a common file like, config.php for example that I would add the meta tags to?

    Currently there is a simple way to create the "Google Site Map". I use
    http://gsitecrawler.com/ to create my site maps.

    I then FTP them up to the root of my site.

    Since I have a Google Webmaster Account for my site, I submit the link to the site map file here.

    I also submit this file (sitemap.xml.gz) to MSN and Yahoo with excellent results.

    i think gsitecrawler is the best solution for creating a sitemap

    Thanks guys for the help. I have created a sitemap using gsitecrawler and uploaded it. It is in a pending state in GWT.

    If meta tags are saved in db you can generate a code that produce a sitemap.
