    Google will do it when they want. They have taken longer to do it before. Worry about serp not Pr. If site is listed good for keywords who cares about Pr.

    Well, PR is tool that shows you how much link power you're getting coming in, ok?

    PR shows you how you are distributing and treating your internal pages, ok?

    And of course, PR shows how the links pointing to you are doing - did the page they are coming from decrease in value and alike ;)


    I hope they will update, I simply love PR and one way links :)


    p.s at some point I started to think that maybe they wana even more minimize the SEO powers ;)

    I am sorry but I totally disagree, PR is not "the" determining factor for SERPs. The position in google SERPs is based on relevancy. And relevancy has more to do with site content and backlinks than it has to do with pr.

    No need to disagree, I have not claimed that PR affect SERPs. Actually I strongly doubt about it. You should consider my post as appeal to all who have a proof that PR of a site (not PR of backlinks) helped a site in SERPs, to post about it.

    I strongly recommend to everyone who wants to solve this mistery, to check PR / SERPs relation on the first day, when this PR update will be finished (yes, finished, not started; the whole process usually takes 14 days or so). In meantime someone can propose what method would be needed to get trustable answer.

    Mine too! I have lots of new backlinks (newly included in google news.. blog commenting on dofollow blogs..etc lots of activity over the last 3-4 months.) ). .. google changed their list from 4 to 3. - Pleh :p It was 5 a month ago, soon I shall disappear altogether :p

    I so far don't take too much care about PR since I would bang my head when i see my one site with more backlinks just have PR1 while my other site has PR3 just only has 10-11 backlinks.

    I notice that backlinks have been updated for all my sites today. And for the past couple of days my proxy sites are ranking well for some good keywords such as "free web proxy" and "anonymous web proxy".
