    I have started my blog 6-7 months before and I am getting only 2-3$ a day from adsense. What should i do to increase my earnings.

    One common optimization technique that I share with my readers is that you can look for your pages that have the highest exit rate. Try to place the adsense ads on these pages because your visitors are likely to leave your site anyway.

    PS: A better alternative is always think of how to retain the visitors and converting them.

    yeah really traffic matters but traffic from good source does matter a lot. Try to get listed by PR5 or more blogs and you will get good CTR. With 500 traffic I am earning more than 8$ a day

    agree to an extent. The funny thing is if you provide really good, quality content in your blog, then people are coming to your blog to read YOUR content, not click on ads. However in general, TimAllard and KC Tan are correct. ;-)

    There are 2 ways to work around it.

    1. Build one main blog, update daily and promote heavily.

    2. Build many mini-blogs and promote everyone of them.

    Overtime, your Adsense earnings will improve.

    I've been writing a stock blog for two years and have some articles posted on Yahoo! Finance through Seeking Alpha.

    Sometimes writing good content isn't enough to get you noticed. :confused:
