Since a couple of days I've been using Play-Asia for my PSP Slim&Lite related blog and I've made pretty much money so far. Right now I made over $20 and have about 6 orders unconfirmed. Their commission rates go up to 12% and their own banners are really nice! And they pay with Paypal! If you're a gamer yourself you can use your store credit and get 5%! Play-Asia
they offered me once but i declined. there an excellent company, and have bought from them before, but i don't think most of my visitors know that things like video games aren't always region free
I'm not sure about the affiliate, but my friend just bought a PSP last week from play-asia. and he did mention this site is quite nice.
Not only for Asian trafic, but also for European and American gamers They ship worldwide and their information on their website is great. Another good thing about the site is that it's easy to get a referral link for every specific product and you can request banners!
look promising but one question: why would someone buy from play-asia when they can go to the store to buy stuffs??
I use Play-Asia, however only make the small bucks. Check their products, its not just games what they ship. In my case i link to all kinds of rare Biohazard stuff, like japanese books, dvd's, action figures etc. If they offer new interesting stuff that fits my niche, i promote the products with affiliate links on my news posts.
The items who sell play asia are a good profitable niche, however I think is better to sell these items directly if you find a good sources. I sold japanese video games for years with a lot of success until all my sources got out of business. The good of this niche if there are a lot of returning customers and high profit margin, this is because I advice to sell directly.
Exactly, Europeans buy their imported American and Japanese games while Americans like the Japanese games and rare items. They even sell candy! They have all kinds of stuff and people really order a lot at the website, they return a lot.
I would suggest direct sales...thats where the actual margins are. Get started with a small investment and then move from there. But to make good $$, you must know what you are doing.
I'm going to stick with Play-Asia for a while My number of sales keeps going up and so far I have 30 dollars!
I've used Play-Asia for around a year now, they used to be my main affiliate on one of my sites, I was sending them around 5,000 - 7,000 uniques a week from around 10 months ago, about 4 months ago I changed my main affiliate to another, but still send around 1,000 - 1,500 uniques a week. My commission for all of the visitors I sent them ... about $60 in 10 months up until now. On my newer main affiliate, commission rocketed straight away, so either something is seriously wrong at play-asia or they just don't have what my visitors wanted.
The public my sites are getting are really interested in buying games so that's why I already have 30 dollars with less than 1500 clicks....
