    Ok,

    I've got a new site...

I'm used to ASP/MDB, so I have no clue how to setup a MySQL DB...

I've got cPanel with phpmyadmin installed...

I want to create a small database (less then 10 fields), and I need a one-page script in PHP showing how to use it... the script should include adding records, deleting records, viewing records and editing records...

From their I can take over...

If you're interested, please PM or reply with how much you would charge...

    EDIT: So far I've received 3 offers ($50, $12, and $15), thanks :)

    Hello,
Well I probably won't beat any quotes you have had but I will quote $40 for this work.
As you can see from my itrader I am an honest, dedicated worker.
I can write your script easily, and it will be written in PHP with OOP (Object-oriented programming) for efficiency.
Let me know if I am considered.

    regards

Dude, you don't need to get anyone to do it...

Go look in your cpanel and select MySQL databases.

Add a database then a user.

Add the user to the database.

    Then click on phpmyadmin.

You then create the tables in there. phpmyadmin will allow you to add, delete, browse etc all tables and fields etc.

You are better off learning it now rather than later.

If you are in a hurry - give me a PM and I will do it for you for free.

You can then learn how to do it when you have time...

Thanks, but I've already checked out phpmyadmin... I'm not used to the field types (tinyint, varchar, ?), I've worked with access for years, so this seems foreign... And the script part of it, is meant more as a reference for me, I'll learn it later, but need this part up soon...

Also, this is a way for me to dump back a few dollars to the DP programmers... I've made money here, so no reason to be a cheapskate, I'll pay a few bucks for helpful work :)
