Hi, what kind of leads are you collecting? And what is your web topic? Generally, you should have a series of autoresponder email messages ready to communicate with your list subscribers.

Essentially, prepare your email mesages to be at least 5-7 of them. If you are just selling one product, then tell them about how the product can help in solving their problems. If your list is on a much broader topic and you want to do repeated sales with them, then you need to create a longer email message series packed with useful info and product recommendations. ;)

yeah my recommendation to you is to create a weekly newsletter which tells your readers about services you offer or general information about your chosen topic. once you get x amount of readers you can start charging people to advertise in your newsletters, you can advertise your own products in the emails, so there are lots of ways to make money with email marketing.

checkout hotscripts.com and you will find lots of free email list software which gives you the ability to automatically collect and verify email addresses of subscribers, and to create the newsletters to send out.

How about creating a survey for them and finding out what they want...

Good suggestion fairplay.....Surveys doe work in two ways. They make the person interact and they provide you with valuable information.

Aside from that, constant communication is key. Not daily, but weekly. Talk to you list and give them good info. Don't just chat about crap, discuss things relevant to your list/website. Add new articles & content to your website and then tell your list about it and put in a link that leads them there. Then slap some adsense on that page and you win double.

There are a lot of ways to capitilize on your list, you just have to be creative.

Yes, for example if your lists is recipe collectors, perhaps doing a survey on what new recipe they would like to see added and then making a product out of it and selling to them with a special offer will certainly monetize your list.

I agree with the constant communication, it makes sure they remember you and it keeps them coming back!
