    I have a site that has been up for about 2 weeks and I am wodering why I have not been indexed by google yet. My homepage is indexed in yahoo! and msn both cached but not seeing anything in Google. Can someone explain maybe why this is happening or should I just wait patiently and it will naturally happen?

    It is best to wait for it to happen, rather than submit to google.
    Make sure you have at least one good incoming link, and bear in mind there may be a sandbox effect for new sites. It can take awhile.

    How you presented the site to google? Have you submitted the site to google or pointed a link from any other site?

    Strongly recommend Google Sitemap, worked for me. Took 3 weeks and everything is indexed and showing up in the searches.

    Google sitemap is really good as mentioned above. Also make sure you submit your site to all the free directorys you can

    how many backlinks do you have? Put one on your sig and it will be indexed within a day or two.
