What I think so far...

I was just thinking a minute ago of how much of a great community this place is. I have been here now for about a week but I haven't been as active as I would like to be. Everytime I come there is a new thread or existing thread which I feel needs my response...yes I have to admit, I am becoming addicted - if anyone knows of a good psyhcologist please PM me the contact details .

It all started last week when I was really bored, I was planning the launch of a new site of mine. I have always been aware of DP's presence but I have never dared to indulge, people have told me how good it is, but still - I didn't want to get addicted. But I made the move, I decided to come and register and see what topics took my fancy. Before I could stop I was already on a 6 posts/day habit, I just need my daily fix now...but to be truthful I like it too much, I just hope I don't need rehab too soon.

But seriously guys, good work on the site, I love it - All in good fun.

 

I think everyone on this forum and alot of others are addicted in some way.

 

6 posts/day habit is not bad. Come see me once you find yourself posting 50 times a day. Then we'll talk.

 

It gone up to 8 now, but yes once I am on such a bad habit I'll come to you. But your average is 8 so...

 

I'm at 100 posts a day. Just the other day I checked my "4k posts!" and my "6k posts!" threads and they're barely a month apart. lol

There's no points to be earned. Signatures and live links within posts are not available to users until they have been a member at least 7 days, have positive (green) reputation and have at least 10 posts.

 

Yeah but that's just when you either;

1. Have a serious DP addiction (in which you definatly do )
2. Have too much time on your hands
3. Or, share the account with other people (which I doubt)

I definitely don't share my account.
I just post wherever I'm able to post. If I can answer a question, I will.

 

Well that's a darn good reason to post so frequent. Maybe I will be in your situation soon. I just don't have too much time on my hands as of Tuesday.

 

That's more like 8everything...that girl was a complete n00b when I was still king of this place with 3k+ posts. One week goes by and she had equal post count of me.

Now she has tons.

I was looking at my stats last night for a different thread and I am somewhere around 35 per day!

 

Total Posts: 1,944 (8.16 posts per day)

 

I know. My average is pretty low because I rarely posted at all for the first few months after I joined... But if you look at this thread from 3 weeks ago, I was around 1200 posts then...

 

Oh, same as me then. Took me about 4 months till I started posting.
