Criticise my site

    Hi,

As you may or may not know, I've been trying to get my site, www.Coffeesh0p.com into DMOZ for some time now.

I was hoping a couple of you could take a few mins to check out my site and tell me the top reason why, if you were an editor, you would not accept my site?

I'm trying to focus on what to improve and I'd like some sense of direction.

Thanks all for your time. :)

Of course, recreational drug categories....then you should have no problem getting listed. DMOZ really LOVES to list drug, porn, pro-anorexia, holocaust denials, etc... ;)

No editor, and it seems like it's rather slow moving, but not crawling...

    1. If you submitted after June of this year, then it's simply not been looked at yet.
    2. If you submitted sometime in 2006, it was lost, please try again
    3. If you submitted sometime before June, but after 2006 then I'm not all that sure what to say...

It's a crap shoot on deciding what really happens when you submit more then once with all the factors involved *shrug* so yeah

Though, heh, I can always fall back to the basics

    Submit & Forget?
    Forget 2 Submit!

It's probably in a queue, please do not submit again, that will not help you. You will simply have to wait till some editor wants to look at your site and make a decision about listing or not.

Fraid you won't be told either way. You have done as much as you can by offering it.

I noticed that no one was editing that category, so I applied to be an editor (not for commercial gain, but out of interest for that subject).

    Not heard anything back though...

You can wait two weeks and then ask for an application update on Resourceless Zone] Strangely enough, they actually treat applicants as if they were more then just words on a page *shrug* Of course it's all form letters, but at least you'll get a reason if you are declined.

It's hard to say. That depends on the attitude of the editors more or less.
