My dream to make an online business with someone who is willing to finance is coming true and will be started this middle of September. Because the business idea is new, I am soliciting any suggestion on how to advertise it when we launch the site 100%... I have some options and tell me if what is effective for immediate traffic other than adwords. 1. Create a referral program for members so that they can help promote the site. 2. Pay some email marketing program. 3. Advertise in ezine 4. Forums and blog postings... 5. Article submission to directories
Jasonb, lol, good point. As for OP it's good to have a business / business idea first and then looking for partners (if needed).
If you are really serious about your business and you don't know how to advertise it right you should look for someone that is an expert in marketing. Usually thats not free but if you found a business partner that is willing to put money into your idea then maybe you'll be able to find someone that can help you market your site.
You cannot advertise an idea. You need to build a foundation first and this means getting everything set-up to the 'T'. Figure out your expenses and what you need to become successful, whether it be doing it yourselves or outsourcing the project. There's alot to think about and do before advertising. Set yourself up right first then do the advertising. On hand, you have the right marketing ideas to get your business out there as listed but it will depend on the structure of your business as well.
Did you put everything into writing with your business partner? Remember, you have to share with him. Partners are like spouses. You just cant get rid of them. You have to share.
