I run a site with paid and free proxy templates but I seem to be having some trouble selling off the paid templates. I've been promoting it in the Buy/Sell/Trade section of DP and that's been helping a little with traffic, but I can't seem to get anyone to buy a paid template. They look 100x nicer than the free ones and are practically unique since no one has yet to buy one, but I guess no one wants to pay when they can get the same thing for free. Anyone have any ideas how I could drive more traffic to my site and make more sales (link is in my sig)? I'm open to any suggestions. I think $15 per template may be a little too steep. It does seem kind of unreasonable for a nonunique template.
Is it each template sold for 1 buyer? If yes its okay. Hmmm maybe you should to make one ebook how to make money from proxy sites. Ebook for free. But you suggest to use the paid templates because of uniques and optimize to adsense. My suggestion is to make viral ebook. My opinion
No, the paid templates aren't unique. There's already so much information out there about running proxies, and there really is nothing to it that I'm not sure what I could write about it.

Additional, please consider a sidebar. 2. http://www.sourcustoms.com/nonunique.php. Free templates and paid templates are both google adsence optimize and this is not good. Get the hint?
1. Honestly, I'm not sure where you're getting at with a header/slogan. 2. That's very true but that's also what separates my templates from every other free template. It's actually good. I was just hoping that some people would be willing to spend $5 for it to be better looking along with a small level of "uniqueness." I appreciate the suggestions, though.
Yes out there so much information. But newbie like me needs one ebook which tell from A to Z about proxy sites. Especially the resources. I mean from technically: 1. where to get free template. 2. where to get paid template. 3. How to place adsense, adbrite or adversal code. 4. what type of proxy( php, cgi, zelune) 5. Costing for each site 6. Where to get proxy hosting( cheap, though server,...) 7. Who offered the custom service for making proxy sites 8. The advantage using proxy sites and disadvantage( summer) I try googling but not much i get. Even you can sell it, but not here. On other forum which they want to make easy money, so proxy is the solution.
You may try the following : 1) Place a banner in proxy.org 2) Link Exchange with proxy sites 3) Do SEO for ur site make ur site little more professional.
Proxy.org blows from a Proxy advertising standard, and Im sure it'll suck from a standard of banner ad. I've done experiments which I've written about, and Proxy.org traffic was trash. Sour, I believe you should sell your non-unique templates for about $5 a pop, because $15 is usually the price of a unique template that's pre-made.
As Zek said, an ebook would be very helpful and I would also be interested to read it. Distribute it for free and put your name and link at the beginning and end of the ebook. That would be a good advertising and it would just cost you a few hours to write it. May be you should try to be listed in more places, I know several and have visited many sites with templates but never heard about yours, even if I see that you are well placed for free proxy templates in Google. Also add your prices on your site, I didn't see them near your templates nor on your main page. I had to click on the order button to know their price. Bebygirl, many sites are offering free templates and at the same time paid templates. Paid templates are usually higher quality and some sites remove them from thei site after a few sells or if you pay a higher price you can even be the only one to use it.
