Not sure where this goes, but... You don't actually need a credit card or banking account to use Paypal, correct? If someone else sends funds to your account (say you did programming for them or something), you can either have a check mailed to your home or you can use your Paypal funds for eBay or at Paypal shops, right?
Noooo, don't get my hopes down. I know you need a banking account to ADD FUNDS, but if you RECEIVE FUNDS from another person, you can EITHER cash out and have a check mailed to your home, OR spend your funds on eBay or other online things like Paypal shops. Right?? Any more clarification anyone?
I have. I just made a Paypal account, the FAQ isn't too clear even though I've reread it time and time again...and I don't quite understand. I'd like some personal experience on the subject.
I wouldn't know. My Paypal for my country only allows you to send funds not receive funds. So make sure that you are allowed to both receive and send funds for the country you live in.
well if you have a paypal account whats the problem. just add a CC or bank account. I've delt with Paypal for years, and As far as I know you have to have one of the 2 On file.
I believe without a credit card or bank account your account is labeled 'unverified', but you can still recieve and send money, you just have a limit which I think is $1000.00. I'm not 100% sure.
Getting Started I received a payment through PayPal. Now what? After you sign up for a PayPal account, the payment you received is automatically reflected in your account balance. There are many ways to use the funds in your PayPal balance: Use it to send a payment to someone else Use PayPal's virtual debit card to shop anywhere online Sign up for the PayPal Money Market Reserve Fund to earn a return on your PayPal balance Withdraw the money to your bank account Request a PayPal ATM/Debit Card, and spend the money anywhere the MasterCard or Cirrus logos are displayed, or withdraw the money from an ATM
you're right. Your account is labeled 'unverified' you can send money with a limit of $750,- and receive money (with no limit). You can also transfer money from you paypal account to your bank account (but you need to add a bank account for that) and vice versa if you want (you don't need to add a bank account). this is what paypal says: "Your PayPal account is Unverified. Becoming Verified increases your online reputation and makes transactions with other PayPal members easier. As an Unverified member of PayPal you can only send up to your initial sending limit in the PayPal system. By becoming Verified, you will be able to send unlimited funds with your PayPal account." i hope this is what you needed
Oh, yay, thanks I also have another question, might as well put it in the same thread. The SSL encryption or whatever (the "s" added to the http), does that prevent keyloggers from stealing what you type? I don't quite understand.
