This relates to my thread here . When i registered at DP , i was quite interested to see so many webmasters and knowledgeable people along with a wide array of tools. When i logged in to my Cotrol panel , i was even more amazed to see the various cute features it came with like the Homepage thumbnail, Adsense options etc . But in my last thread mentioned above , i recieved a negative reputation for creating a new thread for clearing my doubts. Now obviously , as someone pointed out , i was at fault in registering for Yahoo Publisher Network without going through the whole guidelines but i have earlier registered with Google Adsense and Google's system doesn't allow you to signup for somethign they dont make available globally - like the Firefox Referal option. So i have the right to " vent " against Yahoo . But In My Opinion , my thread was about clearing doubts ... not venting . And in MY Understanding forums like DigitalPoint or Site Point etc are places which thrives on such discussions ,unless people clarified their doubts .... such forums would only become sites for Success Stories . I am guessing it is not so . There are several threads for people who can not install vBulletin or PhpBB2 inspite of them having huge sized documentations, probably even Flash videos and Gudies and large ssupport communities , and yet people come here to request help about their problems installing the same . I wonder if they are also given negative markings / reputations for their post on such ?? So if DigitalPoint is the place where all Perfect People visit , i bid my adieu . I doubt it would much make any difference to anybody ... but yet it needs to be said .
I just wish I could stop using this one... But the rep threads are like the darn Energizer bunny... they keep going and going and going...

For those who thinks its about bad rep points - or being unpopular in school and similar answers : If it was about bad reps and something , the reaction would have been me giving the same guy a negative in return or fighting with him . Since my post there - I dont see any constructive criticism about the point i raised either in that topic , nor here ... about wether a publisher like yahoo should have a proper screening system like google , or wether you reputation point system be used in some channelised way . If its "just a reputation point" then why have it ? And even when someone submits feedback , all that can be said is "have heard this before " .

You don't need to stay in a silence mode, what you need to do is forget about rep, don't take it seriously and don't let it bother you... who cares if someone doesn't agree with you and gave you a red rep? Keep posting and someone will eventually agree with you and give you a green one. Just don't pay any attention to rep.
I got a negative rep from one of my first posts, but that didn't stop me. Now, I'm pimpin 4 greenies and I get all the girls.
Be carefull with that. Don't make your secret public. Once aquired, babes must, and SHOULD pe kept private man.
