I voted "Yes" in the poll and read all the 19 pages because they were so interesting and I agree that gays should get all the rights,
The post by nate actually made me thinking. Though it sounds so stupid at first it has an element of truth in it.
Lets start from the history
Marraige Defination : Union between two people men and women
Then there were gays and lesbians having sex in private.
Someone said the stuff in public, people were so suprised and shocked.
Then they accepted it's existence
We all said how their existance affects us in no way, so why care
Then there were public proceedings by gays
Now the future
We all say bisexual are normal and should be allowed to marry
Gays marriage legalised
Marriage defination: Union of two people.
Currently we see porn stars having sex with dogs
Then people do sex with dogs in private
People publicly hear it instead in the porns. they get shocked and surprised
Then they accepted it's existence
We all said how their existance affects us in no way, so why care
Then there were public proceedings by those who love animals dearly and love to have sex with
We all say animal sex and love are normal and should be allowed to marry
after all its about satisfying oneself and love.

I can understand it sounds so absurd but the fact and pattern can't be ignore. Bisexuals were similarly absurd hundred years back

Anyway getting back on topic. Was taking about this last night with my g/f and she is of the same mindset. just give us the same rights and we will be happy. We promise not to take over the world or do anything nasty!

Anybody heterosexual who thinks it will make even the slightest bit of difference to their life is being a drama queen. We allow it in the UK now and why not? What harm can it possibly do? Why are you voting no?

 

I have to go NO on this one..Marriage is defined in the bible as something between a man and a woman..not a man and a man

What has the bible to do with it? You dont need to use a bible to get married. Marriage is not dependent on the bible.
