    Does anyone know of any plugins that can do these things?

    1) When using the "more" tag in an article, a plugin that lets you change that link's text to say anything else that you specify, and lets you use unlimited phrases, such as "Onward to page 2 for reviews of this camera's lens" or whatever. I know there was a plugin for this at some point, but it seems to have disappeared from the internet.

    2) Edit the way search results are displayed... i.e., so that Wordpress displays titles only instead of entire posts (which I find to be incredibly annoying!)

    Haven't tried it, so you'll have to find out for yourself.
    As for the other feature, I suppose you'll have to modify your template.
