yes that's true (insane fees) for sellers anyway, I love it right now though because I just bought the parts for my new computer. AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (Overclocked to 2GHz) w/ CPU Heatsink & Fan 18x DVD+/-RW Burner 512MB PC 2700+ 400MHz DDR Memory 400W ATX Switching Power Supply All for less that $60! That stuff together would retail for over $150!!! So yeah right now I love ebay, but I hate selling on eBay because there are way to many fees. And if you don't sell your item you still have to pay the insane fees!
I love ebay. Really want to look at ways to make a living on it. Anyone have any resources, personal experiences?
I love ebay for finding those hard-to-find items. They're fairly affordable even after the fees so I don't mind it
I love it when I am looking for something but not for when I'm selling. I put my stuff for sale on craigslist.com instead. Everything's free. Albert Hallado
Love ebay, love buying with Paypal because of buyer protection (which works). Don't like local ebay sellers lying that you can buy Nokia phones with Aussie guarantee when Nokia will only honour guarantees from authorised resellers only....and most ebay sellers are not. Or they source cheap phones without warranty or even fake ones from China. So always note or ask where you're item is being shipped from if it is relevant.
good thing is : sometimes it's very cheaper onlind things. bad thing is: you need time to search it and it's hard to find a suitable things to do that. but anyway, in my own opinion, i prefer it. not bad.
I like buying off eBay but hate selling. I was planning on dropshipping on eBay but it looks a bit risky for me.
Selling is a bit difficult. I remember trying to sell an old laptop (I still want to sell it) and someone bought it via BIN. Then Rbay messaged me to say the guy is a scammer. This happened another 11 times in a row. I gave up after the 11th. Col
I have had pretty good luck with my sales. I think I have only had 2 that never paid. In both cases, I was just able to report them as non-paying and then relist the item. When I do sell, I just sell junk that I want to get rid of. I list it at 99 cents and it usually sells at 99 cents. The 99 cents leaves me with nothing after fees, but I still get to get rid of the junk!! Ocassionally, bidders will go crazy over something and I'll end up selling it for $14.00 or something. So eventually I do make a profit. I've also found that things will sell for more if sold as part of a large lot.
