I hate how Canada is using the war as an easy way to suck money out of us. I mean for the smart cars and BB guns we use to fight the terrorists. You would think that the cost would be next to nothing..

Some places the gas was upto $1.80 a litre .. But now an average of 0.97/litre that is needlessly high. Should be 0.60 like it used to be

In Canada here the minimum wage increases all the time as well as everything else.. So it somewhat works out depending what type of things you purchase.

AL GORE show us the way ^_^

The interesting is not the price of the gas. The interesting with gas prices is how long time do you have to work to buy a litre of gas? If you know that then you can understand in what country gas is most expensive. In the image example at the bottom Norway is on top, but related to the local wages Norway has one of the cheapest gas prices in Europe.

Anyway, Prices per gallon. probably US people are the only one that know how much a gallon is :D

    Uk Teeside $5.64
    Hong Kong Hong Kong $5.62
    Uk Milford Haven $5.56
    Uk Reading $5.56
    Uk Norwich $5.54
    Germany Frankfurt $5.29
    Denmark Copenhagen $5.08
    Norway Stavanger $5.07
    Norway Oslo $4.93
    Italy Rome $4.86
    Turkey Istanbul $4.85
    Portugal Lisbon $4.80
    Korea Seoul $4.71
    Switzerland Geneva $4.56
    Korea Koje/okpo $4.53
    Austria Vienna $4.50
    Croatia Zagreb $4.32
    Japan Tokyo $3.84
    Australia Sydney $2.63
    Cambodia Phnom Penh $2.57
    Taiwan Taipei $2.47
    Georgia Tbilisi $2.31
    Laos Vientiane $1.66
    Thailand Bangkok $1.60
    China Tianjin $1.54
    China Shanghai $1.48
    Russia Moscow $1.45
    Kazakhstan Almaty $1.36
    Kazakhstan Atyrau $1.35
    Tajikistan Dushanbe $1.32
    Azerbaijan Baku $1.15
    Venezuela Caracas $0.14

Yes they have. But what is the wages there? If the wages are $1 per hour then the gas in reality is as expensive as norway.

The best is to have much money. Then the gas prices does not matter.

Ok. Try LIVING on minimum wage.

Any employer who needs to pay no more than minimum wage in order to "globally competitive" does not own a business. They own a sweatshop.

At minimum wage, each full time employee is subsidising the employer to the tune of $10K plus on credit cards.
