This petty bickering MUST stop if we are all going to make anything come of this forum and our directories. We ALL need to get along and help each other out when possible.

Now, I know some of you say that I should have never brought my problem with Aviva public and now with all the bullshit coming from this thread I can see everyone's point. Maybe I should have given Aviva more time to respond and maybe I should have pursued contacting Aviva more persistently. Regardless, bringing this public has caused to much turmoil here and I want it to stop.

That being said, I would like to make a public apology for doing just that. I should have never brought this public and for that I'm sorry. Sorry to all DP members, directory owners and sorry to Annie and Jeff especially.

I want people to know that I think Aviva is a quality directory and I know Jeff is most likely a decent person. I don't know Jeff and have never interacted with him until this thread but anger makes you say things you shouldn't and I am a prime example of that.

So please, DP'ers accept my apology and lets move on!

Well said and I agree, we should move on and stop using somebody's possible mistake to crucify that person. :)

The part I bold from your post is a matter of opinion (not fact) and was really unnecessary.

@threebuckchuck - Apology accepted. I also offer my apology for same to you and compostannie.

If there is anything constructive that can be done to work any remaining issues out, please contact me via my Aviva email at:
    http://www.avivadirectory.com/contact.php

I'll be sure to respond promptly.

I wish you and compostannie nothing but the best and hope that your directories all do well. I am really glad to see directories that have such strong editorial standards and continuously add quality websites. I think doing that sets a real example for the industry.

Yeah I know that too, we have same "Dance with 'so-called' stars" in Europe.
And yeah I could be grandpa for some of you, may be 20 years ahead, may be less, maybe more...
But also many years ahead of most people here in computing...:D
And additionally in my age the BRAIN is most powerful in man's life ever :D

I wish this post to be last in this thread.
I think we all should grant Aviva absolution and never come back here.
