how to do linkbulding

hi i am new to this forum i want to know what is link bulding and how it is don by this we can make any money. this is only think to make money or it is to pramote the site please tell me about this pls

 

Link building is getting links to your site from other sites. It's done to increase your position in search engines and attract visitors.

To get links just create something that people like.

I think basically link building include link exchanging and get/buy one way links

 

there are some nice link exchange programs out there.

Be careful when selecting them as there are some that have been noted by google and links there could be banned....

You cna make money off it if you charge other sites for linking to them on your site, but Google is cracking down on that too.

If you have designing skills, try create free template like wordpress template & put you footer link..

 

Be sure to include the anchor or keyword in the text of your link and link it to the page with that specific keyword

Link building is easy. Quality natural link growth is harder. The days of requesting to a webmaster are over and now people are hesitant to link out of their site.

Its a funny situation google has made for us and itself.

Basic ideas to promote a site is in my sig below.

 

Link building won't really bring you money. It can increase your ranking, which will increase your organic SE traffic, which can bring you visitors that may buy something from your site, but it won't bring you money directly. Indirectly, but not directly.

Directory submission, article submission, blog commenting, blog posting, squidoo, forum posting, and anything else that gets your link place on another website.

It's not that difficult to build up links, you just have to work at it.

 

That's a great technique, really. I practice that heavily. I have started a website MagicTemplate.com where all the templates that I distribute there for free need to keep a link back to my site.

Also on LayoutGarden.com I have built a free WordPress theme based on the almost famous iTheme theme and I giveit free for download. Of course you need to keep a link back to me.

That's a great technique for link building.

Content is king. Write up good posts and stuff that would make people come back to your site again and again. Backlinks would automatically come.

I think writing good articles for article directories that then get used in multiple other places is a great way to go, as one article can cascade into 100 links.
