Here are my suggestions:

1) I'd remove the feedburner box if you don't have any people subscribed!
2) Have the blog posts in text format rather than image - Search engines don't know what the image is about!

I agree with bangers, posts in text instead of images.

 

I think for content... an introduction would be great... this would make it feel more personal for people..
