Twitter to be bought by Google

Well its not YET official. This is what I strongly believe and i have been following some news sources for this. Got this tip from someone high up

Twitter is a fairly popular site which started going viral a while back. Its a system where you send short 160 charachter messages to each other and those in your "community".

 

I joined twitter a while back but never found the desire to send text msgs to no specific person for no specific reason.

 

What an incredibly pointless website? That's web 2.0 for ya, though.

 

Well something that is pointless is apparently growing faster than Blogger.

Unfortunately, I cant disclose the name of the person who told me this information. He is a very legitimate guy and used to work for Google at a very senior position.

However It seems it might happen anytime soon.

I know its kinda hard for others to believe me but i am fine with it

Doesn't seem likely to me. Google already owns Dodgeball which is pretty much the same thing as Twitter.

 

Google is buying everyone & everything these days so it wouldn't be a big surprise for me.
