I use Godaddy, Namecheap, and Networksolutions.

Godaddy has cheap prices with coupons and cheap .info domains that's what I use them for... but I dislike their control panel and how they ask me if I want to add 10 different things everytime I buy something. IMO even though they are a huge company I don't trust them, I would just use them for .infos.

Namecheap cost a bit more but they are my personal favorite I like the layout and everything works 99.9 percent of the time and their support team is also very quick.

Networksolutions hmm pretty much like Godaddy in the way they ask you to buy 10 things everytime you register but more pricey, but I do keep my more prized domains there because I know they won't go belly up or have something retarded happen like Registerfly.

I am borrowing this from a wise man from WebHostingTalk :)
"There is no best registrar. There is only the registrar that's best for you."

    I agreed with kohashi.
I currently have domains registered with 4 registrars. I think all are good for me.

You need to keep both price and service in mind. Godaddy, Namecheap, Domainsite are some of the good ones.

You can consider Godaddy simply because it is so popular, and therefore transferring your domain will rarely entail more than a mouse click.

NameCheap.com here too. I have about 20 domains with them.
I still have a few at GoDaddy and a couple with my webhost, but I'll soon be moving all of them to NameCheap.

Icann has a page on all the accredited registrars and country of origin
    http://www.icann.org/registrars/accredited-list.html

2 things to lookout for :
    1) do they provide free private registration
    2) how good is their domain transfer service

I use godaddy and love them.

I like to use GoDaddy simply because it is the most popular registrar and when it come to transferring domains from one person to another it is usually free and I can keep all my domains in one place.

Many people have said they have problems with GoDaddy all the time, but I cannot understand this as I haven't ever expierienced any problem. All I agree with is the annoying thing they do by asking you 101 questions on if you would like to buy anything else............NO!

I prefer Mydomain, cheapest .infos with coupon code "bargaincat.com" @ $1.03, .coms for $6 - $7 depending on how many you order & they don't force ads down your throat and other services when all you want is to quickly order your domains. They have a very swift and fast management system for bulk domains and changes to name servers are almost instant. They have also been around for many years and are owned by Dotster. Plus they take cc & payPal etc... :)
