In case people didn't know, they are jacking the minimum payout up to $50.

So those of you who are earning a 10th of what you were earlier, can look forward to running AA until you can hit the minimum payout amount. That's what I am up against.

Also, my interpretation of the $25 to new and past publishers is that this is the buyoff for shorting tons of publishers on their July and August earnings. For some people, the missing $100s won't be easily compensated for by a one time payment of $25.

No. This isnt a buy off. It doesnt apply to every publisher, only those who are new or havent had a payout yet.

Its a promotion for new publishers. Simply put.

You're right Joey. I stand corrected.

I am still pissed about the $50 minimum though. Why it is on the blog and not being emailed out directly to publishers is a big no-no. It's backwards to expect Publishers to read the blog to stay apprised of major account changes like this.

They (MediaWhiz) are basically trying to buy their way out of the hole that they've dug themselves. I'm not on the inside of course, but I would imagine that their publishers and impressions have dropped drastically the last few months, and they know exactly why. It's a problem that they have been blatantly ignoring, and now they're trying to get out of it by giving away free money....Probably the money they stole from publishers July and August.

This $25 signup bonus is a great promo...but for people like myself, this does absolutely nothing for me and my earnings that I lost starting mid-July. Of course, I got rid of AuctionAds a long time ago.

Does anyone else find the $25 amount curious. That is the same amount that E-Bay pays for new sign-ups. I'm curious to see who uses AA and has received a referal fee for someone signing up on E-Bay.

Since E-Bay uses CJ I don't understand why they cannot supply the same stats as CJ. CJ actually shows you how many people have signed up with E-Bay so you know if you have a potential referal or not. Remember, you get the referal money from E-Bay once someone signs up on E-Bay and wins an auction.

One of the reasons I originally liked AA was it's low payout. Now that's out the window...

Anyone have a clue when that $25 gets added into the stat reports for those that have not made it that far yet? (as once that get's added I'll only need to earn another $24 to get paid, lol)

If you re-read that, it sounds like they won't be adding $25 to existing accounts without payout, but topping them up to $25.

I still don't like raising the payout level by 400%.

There's just not enough transparency in the earnings system.

    Meh...

$24 left, $25 left, not really much of a difference in my case ;)

With the recent reporting issues, maybe they are just trying to buy some time?

I made 3 more cents today... no clue from where though, it's showing up in "my account" but not in any of the reports. I'm hoping that'll update in the next reporting update. *shrug* Kinda a moot point I guess, as I'm getting bumped up to $25 ;)

i am sure they are trying to get new users and old users to consider using them again... but its hard for people to want to go back when there has been issues and no explanation atleast when it was Shoes if there was an issue he was upfront and worked on resolving it.

    I must have missed that...

The problems started in mid-july and they (as in any owner) still haven't fully acknowledged any trouble.

Right, the drop in earnings started mid-July and MediaWhiz "officially" acquired AuctionAds about 2 weeks later...Shoemoney never acknowledged these issues either, and they were definitely going on for about 2 weeks under his belt.

i don't like the idea at all, $50 payout is gay with all their mess you can barely make $10.

.. and for those that made like $10 for a payout before they lost $25 "Please note if you signed up with us previously and have never earned a payout we will bump your current balance to $25 too!" -- if you ever got a payout, even $10 you lost the $25, wonderful. not me but yea some ppl ...

they should give the $25 to everyone if they really wanna do a favor for the users that put up with their mess for the last two months. Not that I care but i found it not fair for those semi-new publishers that isn't qualify.

and i am still seeing the ctr issue, is that going to stay and we should get used to seeing the low low ctr instead of those we seen back in June/July?

If they give new sign-ups and non-performers $25 then bump the minimum up to $50 - what risk do they take? None. It's pure marketing nonsense. I am sure their accountants have told them that they will make more from publishers that never reach $50 than they will payout in sign-up incentives.

I am not confident that their network is fixed and revenues are ending up where they should. Going over to the eBay program is more tempting now.

I just got my $25 and guerilla read it right, I was bumped up to $25, or at least I'm right on $25 now and was at $0.0325 a few hours ago. Nothing is showing up in reports though *shrug* maybe those are still only getting daily updates.
