Scam or legit? What do you think?

I received an email two days ago that said I was entitled to $500,000 US$. They first person who sent it told me they were going on vacation and to deal with their assistant or wait until they got back. Out of curiosity and to mess with them a bit I replied asking how I get my $500k. I got a response saying the bank draft has already been done up and all I needed to do was to provide my mailing address so they could mail it to. I keenly thought I would stump them here and asked that if the draft was already made up could they please take a pic or scan it and email that to me, and surprisingly he did. He emailed me earlier with a photo of a $500,000 bank draft with my name on it... what do you guys think?

No one gives away money just like that. He might ask you for a certain amount later just to be able to recieve the draft.

Sounds too good to be true.
Don't give your address out - have it mailed to a PO box if you wish to proceed further. Don't make any plans for the cash just yet!

Oh no plans have been made, and I would usually just ignore them, but with this scan of the draft with my name on it, it is just weird. I went ahead and contacted the bank which the draft was drawn on to see if they can verify it's legitness via the banking numbers on the draft. Only time will tell I guess.

The scammers are getting advanced making actual scans of bank drafts, hope no one falls for it. I am not really sure what exaclty they could do with only my name and address but Lord knows they have must have something up their sleeve.

Absolutely legit! Nigerians are known as the most generous of people. One time I got about $250,000 from them. I would advise you to do what I did exactly if you really want your money.

    1. They may have special instructions during the transaction which may include using a bit of your own money but don't worry it is necessary.

    2. Just follow the instructions carefully. Trust a little and have faith, and be patient.

    3. Don't listen to those negative ^^^^ posters above, they are just jealous you got your name on that check and not them. (Losers ^^^)

Your on your way to a new life.

Best wishes on your new found wealth!
