    LOL, although, considering a few of the committees I've been on, I sometimes wonder if the candidate's actual research time ever extended into the double-digit minutes!

    I am willing to give it a go... more money is just that: more money.

    <RANT>

    Off-Topic:

    People on this forum that use the anonymous negative rep system to assert their low self-esteem make me laugh. I only give positive rep and when I do I include my username. Those of you that think giving negative rep when someone disagrees with you somehow bolsters your position are nothing more than comic relief.

    I would ask that if you feel the need to give negative rep at least have the nards to post your username. That way I can keep a mental list of idiots and not have to assume that everyone is deficient.

    </RANT>

    I have noticed that I get quite a lot of click traffic from various forums and this is a great way to monetize that traffic and advertise your favorite program at the same time.

    Thanks for the info.

    A couple of questions...

    Why do you think the traffic is not yours? They've actively clicked on a link and come to visit - they're yours, fair and square aren't they?

    Why do you create a new blog? Why not just create a new post targetted to the keywords and have only one post showing on the front page of your blog? That way the old words can keep working, the domain gets "aged" etc.

    [OT]I leave +ve and -ve rep, unsigned. Don't sweat the small stuff[/OT]

    Easier than that... just set your sig link directly to the blog post.

    I agree with the leave-em-let-em-age idea.

    OT: Just seems childish and cowardly to me. I make friends and enemies for the same reasons. I speak my mind and call a spade a spade. Sensitive basement-dwellers are threatened by that.

    Ps. Thanks for the rep... Kiwis' ain't all bad. <wink>

    Usually requires a few good posts. Or one popular thread. Spamming? I seriously think you guys need to light up a bit. The worlds not that bad. Why is everyone so depressed? Its not spamming.

    Yes it is yours. But i mean originally. Its through DP. Its not like SEO. Its DP traffic.

    Probably because your signature is only really appealing to Indians. And they would make up a bit of DP, but not that much. If you change it. You will get heaps more.

    2 clicks from 50 uniques.
    50 uniques=50 impression (only one article)

    CTR = 4%

    Is that kinda CTR possible from web savvy people like us?

    Suprisingly enough it is. And a lot of people on here will click your adds. 20 per cent don't click, but others do. I have narrowed the 20 percent down to adsense visitors. The rest will click if the adds interest them.

    This post seems to have uncovered a secret in which others are not happy with me posting. I have recieved a lot of bad reps since this post. And a few PM's with people saying, now there is less chance they can make money doing this.

    So to those of you unhappy with this thread, we have to remember Digital Poitn is a community. Where i can help people, i always will, no matter of the situation.

    Yep... whoever it is at DP that decided to use this rep thing should be slapped with a trout. It is the most useless thing I have ever seen.

    I think I will hire an outsourcer to create DP accounts just to sell off rep. :D

    This seems like a very well though out technique. I thank you and will add this to my own blogging technique. At this point I am trying to find new techniques because I get bored easily when something works on autopilot. I get a rush from finding something that works.

    Yes. It is only worth doing this after the highest keywords. E.G if you find someone that is using adsense for "Western Victorian" lawyers, than that keyword is going to pay big bucks, $50 a click. Because most people who click on those adds use the site their going to for such a lawyer in that area, because there is no competiting sites. Thats why there is always going to be really high clicks, we have to capitilize on that.

    Also why not devote the time im spending on my bigger sites? well its only half an hour, and that leaves me plenty of time to spend on my bigger sites.

    Sounds like an interesting idea. That is definetly something that I have been working on, is trying to develop a few different blogs. They are all still about stuff I enjoy doing though. Probably going to have 5 up and running by the end of the month, we'll see how that goes.

    I also did just add links to my sites in my sig, we'll see how that goes.
