Please review site / Reps added for decent feedback

Hi there all,

I've been playing with my Arcade and trying to improve its load times.. I've had the live chat module installed for quite some time now and it seems a real success but I'm checking on peoples thoughts regarding layout, colour scheme and load times as I think I may have been able to improve them since my last update...

Your arcade site looks just like any other arcade site.. try to make it something unique like zapak.com which is very famous in INDIA now... & btw... u could even see re-arrangement of adsense... as they are in the same place.... where all sites place it... place it in some unique place which seems like original... & also the design/template should be more dynamic...

 

Ahh good idea about the ad placement - I will think about that.... thanks for the advice!

 

The red "prize" and "favorites" don't match. They would look better yellow in my opinion.

 

I think the design is nice. You should probably add more than just 7 games on the homepage. Some things look a little crowded but overall, it's fine.

and what frkr said about the color.

 

I think it looks really good as it is. I couldnt find anything that I didnt like. I agree that you should have more than 7 games on the home page, but that isnt really a problem.

AHH the red links - fair point and exactly the kind of tips Im looking for I will change those ASAP, and more games!? Hmm I will give that go also, maybe I'll try 10 and see how that goes..

With a website like zapak.com are all of the games on their created by them themselves? or do they buy the rights to the game or can you just embed them for free??

 

I checked that site out and it looks like a full on portal for Indian gamers and culture.. really impressive site but I think that they're going for something different than I.. I reckon they might have some games made for them..

 

The layout and colours are both really nice, makes we cant to come back. Unfortunately, your load times aren't bad but it would be nice if they were better. Don't really like the banner, it's hard to make out what it says. Good spot for the chatbox, it was one of the first things I saw because it's right under a picture for a cash prize. I notice the ads are there and I like how they don't really distract me from viewing the games either. Great site.

 

Hi, nice work, good colour and adsense integration is done well. Would be nice if you could run it from the root or as a sub domain so that the direct address of this arcade was shorter and catchier.

Site colors great, game loaded extra fast.
Have added to fav's for hubby to play some games online.

Have to say most game sites have way to many pop-ups so was rather happy to see none...

Really great site..Adsense, and Layout looks quite well.....
The adsense ad you are putting just below the game(on the gaming page), It would be gr8 if you put it in the side column.

Wow at first glance your site looks really complicated. Every part is jumping at me, trying to get my attention. The games are pretty cool though. I can see that you put in a lot of effort into the site.

You have room for another adsense unit on the right sidebar. Use it. With all the "confusion" (which I believe could be deliberate), it's easy to gain a few clicks in that area. Just my 2 cents....

I can see it's the arcade of your forums. A few sites have this sort of plugin, but anyway. My first experience of coming to your arcade was good. The games that you have look good and the colors used on your forums/arcade is nice. Sometimes I think I have gone a little to light with my arcade site as your's looks nicely done in back with white and orange for the text.

A overall good job and all the best with it.
