Yahoo Answers

Yahoo Answer is great for "marketing studies" :
- Post a question about a possible online product.
- And get valuable feedback.

Not traffic or SEO.

 

I haven't had the same experience. I make almost double using adsense.

 

I'm getting some traffic from Yahoo! Answers.

It's good for word of mouth traffic, I believe, because my direct traffic grew. Plus, I noticed people using my site as reference.

 

I got a lot of yahoo answers incoming traffic for a proxy site.

Questioners has asked "Whats the best proxy server....." etc etc

I answered with my proxy and Voila !

But no backlinks from there.. just quality niche traffic!

 

Great source of traffic, but can become extremely boring over time answering similar question after similar question.

 

I've had a little flow of traffic from others recommending my site on there, but the amount of traffic is not much, but when you get the traffic, it does seem to be quite targeted when it comes to the average pageviews per user.

 

I have sold a decent amount of affiliate products on yahoo answers.

My tip - setup multiple accounts and answer your own questions and then vote your answer as the best.

 

Some of you get sales from Yahoo! Answers traffic ? I never made any sale from it, even getting best answers in my niche.

 

Its a very beneficial source but no backlinks
