Most valuble keywords in domain

    Hi,

I have been thinking about this for some time now.

What is the most valuble keyword you can have in a domain?
Do stand alone keywords like money have any value if they don't have .com, .net, .org extension (ex:www.money.it)

I'm thinking words like credit, loan, money are good keywords to have in a domain.

    what's your thoughts?

take any major market/product, it's pretty obvious. I dont think they are worth 6 even 5 figures in any extension. ALWAYS depends on extension.

What you mean ccTLD one worder premium keyword name?

It really depends on the language of a particlar country domain... a popular "local" or "native" word would highly fit a ccTLD and has value for end-user market.

Take a look at Apartamentos.es (Apartments in Espanol), it commanded a $40,000 sale at Sedo.com, Maklare.se (Broker in Swedish) was sold also for $40,000 in a private sale - Source: DNjournal.com

    Whelp, if you ask me what are the most valuable keyword in domain then it's anything synonymous to c a s i n o, s e x, p o r n o and again, s e x !

    Good luck

^ whelp, I would not go for like myname.cn because I'm not Chinese... also I think unitedstates.ru is very inappropriate but imagine how much could unitedstates.com sell... IMO

    Thanks for you answers!

So are you telling me that if I had a one word domain 'forex.??' it's not worth anything?

Are there not words in this domain business where the extension dosen't really matter. like porno, gambling, stocks and these high SE result words?

    - The extension does not matter for SEO.
    - The extension matter if you want people to remember the domain name.

    Very simple like that.

It really depends Sirseo, will just have to use the commonsense and taste... fact is that there are always end-users around the world.

I think Forex.ext is "generic" and the term is widely used worldwide. There will be a "sure" buyer. But then again, it really depends. Some extensions have their purpose... like .travel .. Forex.travel sounds blunt.

I dont think you will get better answers here.
I think one can use common sense here, what would you pay for ? SEO wise, it is the gambling, medical, money and other domains.

For a domainers perspective, all one-worder, two-word combo (without hyphen), highly priced overture/adwords keyword/phrase on all gTLDs and "major" ccTLDs are worth to invest.

    Good luck gold mining SirSEO

One method is to check Overture searches and Bids.

How many times does a user search for that term each month?

How much would adsense pay per click?

    Multiply the two.
