    Ok, well, higher PR sites linking to you will help quicker than a bunch of low quality links. 1 PR7 link would boost it to at least PR5 within a month.

    PR does not seem to be working terribly well. Google are treating it as a non event and its best forgotten. Build links for the serp's and your key words. PR is yesterdays story which means you can happily use the free directories to get the results you really want. :)

    Not every backlink counts. Try to get a few backlinks from high PR sites and you should be fine. I got several pr8 pages with a single link from a high authority

    You dont really want a high page rank. You might get mistaken for one of the QBC and it has little if any weight in the serp's any longer. Rather use the free diectories. They work like a dream and I am not talking about the fairy tales that have been pimped around for so long.
