I found and use http://sitemap.xmlecho.org/sitemap/ I works great, just register, and click make sitemap. Depending on the size of your site it can take 24h+ to receive an email to download the xml , php or asp. I downloaded the php one. This site even submit to Google but I preferred to submit it my self. Google accepted my sitemap.php without error. This tools is perfect for xml dummies like me. Note: I'm not related by any means to this site.
You helped me , Thanks very much , I'm in confused about making my xml sitemap ( I'm XML Dummies too )
Here is another good one - http://www.blocklayer.com/googlesitemap/ No signup needed and comes recommended from Google. I was having major problems getting my sitemap verified until I used this, havent had one problem since.
Ok, I had to do this! After having a generator eat over half my entire systems resources on a 20,000+ page site I was wondering if anyone has seen one that smartly filters out query strings(and works), that also holds together long enought for a large site submission. Problem it seems is that some site mapping tools follow links so religeously they never drop certain types of dynamic urls and always end up returning to a location causing huge amounts of repetition. The cleanup is oh so fun.. As far as validation is concerned. We will always have our friends over at w3.org
I've written up my <a href="http://www.uncoy.com/2005/11/google_sitemap_.html">Google sitemap software</a> experiences here. There's a few choices. The best for me was GSiteCrawler.
Another link to the generation and application site map: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com Google http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=http://www.poslovionline.com/google.xml Yahoo http://search.yahooapis.com/SiteExp...o&url=http://www.poslovionline.com/google.xml MSN http://api.moreover.com/ping?u=http://www.poslovionline.com/google.xml Ask http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http://www.poslovionline.com/google.xml
Thanks for sharing. . i like xml-sitemaps.com but it helps generate only 500 pages. i am trying http://www.blocklayer.com/googlesitemap/ and good.. nice.
I'm using www.freesitemapgenerator.com, as though it took a long time because of the queue there (maybe because it's free?)
