hi, a few minutes ago all my sites and directories using the phpld script were hacked. I can't prove that but all were hacked in the same way. Did anyone had the same problem before? All directories are showing the same problem: Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "../CORE_TEMPLATES/messages.tpl" in /XXXX/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095 I have a good idea of who might have done this after allegedly hijacking his thread here on Dp but I dont have any prove about that so I won't reveal his name. The only prove I have that he asked me if my signatures links were mine - in that moment I instantly checked the sites and were fine - and in 2 minutes all the directories using PHPLD script were down. Could not be hacked after all? Even I strongly believe that? Thanks
Can you show me the URL which shows that smarty? And what was the server name you placed while installing the directory?
Lol, he means me when he says "someone". I haven't touched to your sites at all petyard, I am not a lowlife. Since they all have gone into the same situation at once, it's about your hosting 90%.
The error showed above means the system can't find 'messages.tpl' file. However if it shows the error - means your phpld is not hacked. System is working if could show such error... If you can't solve it - must ask and give your ftp settings. There are many people who could help you.
you think the PHPLD script cannot be hacked? or you just think this directory was not hacked? please explain a little
@leet: I did not acuse you of anything but I showed you that this problem appeared at 1-2 minutes after your question isn't at least weird? Let's not fight again here...I will upload an old backup and I hope it will work Just asking if the script can be hacked and maybe someone else had the same issue in the past
Well bud, I see your concern but I am not such a person after all. You should've understood that from my manner. I never even said anything rude to you when you kept calling me rude things. It's just a coincidence and it's not hacked at all. I would suggest asking about it to your hosting. phpld can be hacked but I don't think the situation you have is this.
it will be very easy....why do I need someone to blame for? who's acting like a child now? me or you?
I've yet to hear of a site being hacked where the hacker didn't proudly announce what he had done. Your problem sounds either like a server misconfiguration or a phpLD misconfiguration or some corrupted files.
That happened to me before on one of my dirs. I finally figured it was something to do with the template I was using, not being for compatible with the version of phpld that I had Switch to the default template and see if you still get the error(s).
