Both are true! If I had to guess I'd say there probably isn't anyone else out there with more or more powerful servers.

 

If you had 4 Quad-pro servers, you could do some powerful things. If you had 100,000 Quad-pro servers, you could be Google...

 

I'm pretty sure they have way less than 100,000 servers and they've stated themselves that it's a lot of cheap computer connected to work together.

I dunno, what's cheap to us and what's cheap to them are two very different things... and if they were using cheap servers their uptime would suffer you know, granted it's distributed greatly... but swapping out crapped servers is costly for anyone.

100,000 doesn't honestly surprise me when companies like Softlayer can signup people for 3,000 a month... Google's growing faster than many of these companies and their constantly buying up start-ups too.

It was only by chance that I checked Google. I wish I had taken screenshots now.

Blogs though are a great way of keeping Google spidering your site, as it's fresh unique content.

 

There is nothing about how much servers they have, what types etc. This info is much more interesting for me.
